Care and Prepare-The Coalition for Quality End of Life Care

Plan for the CQEC’s (Coalition for Quality End of Life Care) next exciting program!

Entitled, “Care and Prepare,” this program will focus on caregiver needs, resources and support. What also makes this program different is that participants will have the opportunity to participate in role-plays based on a scenario that we have created involving a family dealing with the decline of a loved one, and the medical staff in charge of their case.

There are some wonderful guest speakers who will address all the issues that can come up as families face conflict, differing opinions about goals of care, and challenges communicating with doctors and other professionals.  We will explore ways to combat caregiver stress, and clarify the differences between hospice and palliative care.

The cost is only $10.00 and includes breakfast, lunch, and informational materials.

See more details on the flyer.
